Judge Biden to the rescue!

What happens when the Vice-President gives illegal advice?

Vice President Biden recently suggested that if someone feels threatened in their home, they should fire a shotgun through the door. A Virginia man did just that, and now 21-year-old Trevor Snowden is in a lot of trouble. He’s been charged with reckless handling of a firearm.

Judge Alex Ferrer, a former police officer, joined America Live and said that Snowden can’t use Biden’s advice as a defense. “The times that I’ve actually heard [Biden] give firearm handling advice, all of it has been absolutely illegal.”

According to one report, the man saw someone outside his house with a mask on and fired. Ferrer says that’s against the law because there was no imminent threat of danger. “When they are outside your house, that’s a time to call 911 and wait patiently with a shotgun to make sure they don’t come in,” he advised.

If your defense is the sound legal theory of “but Biden said it’s okay”, you probably belong behind bars.
