Mark Finkelstein of NewsBusters reports on a Good Morning America! (do they have the exclamation? Is it that good of a morning anymore?) segment as follows:
If Good Morning America’s giddiness over the prospect that Hillary Clinton might run for president is any indication of how the MSM will treat the story, it’s gonna be a long-g-g-g four years.
What’s less tolerable than pro-Hillary stories is people bitching about pro-Hillary stories.
Reena Ninan from GMA says the following, which is apparently ironclad proof of uncontrollable excitement:
We are looking for any sort of tea leaves. Meteorites hitting Russia, anything that might suggest that Hillary Clinton is running. [Ed. you really have to listen and hear the breathless excitement in Ninan’s voice]. I think we’re going to have a date every Saturday to talk about this, Dan.
GMA is making fun of the fact that the media reports breathlessly on pestering Hillary Clinton that she will run for president (like they’ve done on a constant basis since 1998).
Besides, if you “really listen and hear” to the video, you’ll note that the anchors are more excited on the basketball intro than on Hillary running, which is just a normal news item.
0/10, Finkelstein.
