Soon after his inauguration in 2009, President Obama claimed the following:
Look, the only measure of my success as president when people look back five years from now or nine years from now is going to be, did I get this economy fixed. I have no interest in promoting a package that doesn’t work.
Well, it’s been five years, and here are the results:
as of the just completed quarter, US GDP “growth” since the “recovery” is now the worst in US history, having just dipped below the heretofore lowest on record.
By his own standards, President Obama has not been a success.
By the way, here are the groups that have recovered least:
The report found that the most fragile households were not well educated, relatively young or black or Hispanic, or some combination of those characteristics.
However, 93% of African-Americans voted for Obama, as well as 71% of Hispanics. It’s clear–Obama’s most loyal voters have been hardest hit by his policies.
How is voting for someone who has directly hurt you supposed to help you?
