Daily Show co-creator politicizes a natural disaster as it happens

Lizz Winstead, co-creator of The Daily Show and tweeter 75k followers strong, wrote the following immediately after a tornado flattened the town of Moore, OK, killing 20 children, 51 people in total:

“The tornado is in Oklahoma so clearly it has been ordered to only target conservatives.”

Winstead attempts to make a joke about the IRS targeting conservative groups, and fails miserably. So what does she do? Double-down:

Other tornado tweets from Winstead (before the one above) include: “How long has Obama known about this tornado?” and “Tornado just bumped me from MSNBC” #Benghazi

On a recent episode of Adam Carolla’s podcast, Winstead argued against Adam Carolla’s assertion that women aren’t funnier than men (because men have to be funny to attract women). Indeed, Winstead called his claims “ridiculous”, citing that “not all men are attracted to women” and that some women are indeed funny, both points that show that she was erroneously trying to find exceptions when Carolla was pointing out a rule that works for the majority.

It’s clear with her recent tweet that she proved him absolutely right about men being funnier than women.
