Nothing looks better than an elegant statue in an art museum or courtyard.
Artist Daniel Edwards’ newest creation just might go up there with Venus de Milo or the Winged Victory of Samothrace. The sculpture is entitled “L.A. Fertility”, and shows pregnant, armless, nude Kim Kardashian in a walking pose.
According to the artist himself, “[s]eople tend to look at the parts, like the creases in her armpits, or how she wore a dress that makes her look like a killer whale. I’m stripping it of the details people get stuck on, so they can see the beauty”.
The details he did focus on were the “lactiferous breasts”.
The enormous sculpture of Homer Simpson’s face topped with another head will be on display starting June 5.
