In recent years, MTV (Music Television—can’t blame you if you forgot) has had not one but two teen pregnancy shows: Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant.
Mostly, the public lives of the girls in the series have been punctuated by arrests, broken relationships, and child protective services.
Let’s be honest—if you sign up for an MTV camera crew to follow you around with your kid while you’re still in high school, the child should probably be delivered and whisked away by CPS while you’re still in the stirrups.
One of the ‘Teen Mom’ girls, Farrah Abraham, has been in the news far too much lately because she did a porn with James Deen and was paid over a million dollars for it. She has also done product endorsements in the half-million-dollar range, making a substantial fortune out of not taking her birth control.
And now, it’s gotten to the point where her running along the beach in Miami is considered “news”. Did she get arrested for public intoxication? Assault a midget operating a lemonade cart? Smoke crack while shouting anti-Cuban obscenities?
Nope, she just…ran on the beach.
This is Miami Beach. There are hundreds of girls hotter than this one, and a substantial amount who are likely more well-to-do. So why are we focusing on this girl and her bad choices again?
