The Westboro Baptist Church is the biggest ministry of trollers in the nation, despite the fact that membership is under 100 and mostly consists of the extended Phelps family.
However, across the country, Democrats and Republicans, vets and pacifists, gay and straight, Christian and atheist have come together to protest these people who picket the funerals of soldiers, gay suicide victims, celebrities, and whomever else they can gain publicity from.
The Westboro “Baptist” “Church” may just unite America in opposition to them and their elastic stretching of the First Amendment. So who knows…they may be just what we need in these divisive times.
