In Glorieta, New Mexico, there’s a new way to prostitute: sleep with a guy, then claim you’ve been raped unless you get paid $500/week for three weeks.
That’s exactly what Selena Velasquez, professional Sharpie eyebrow artist and now accused extortionist did.
Here’s where things really turned sour:
State police said Velasquez had been visiting the man at work, texting him and calling him since the encounter, allegedly threatening to harm him and his daughter.
It really takes a special kind of crazy to pull a stunt like this.
Velasquez was arrested in the parking lot without incident, although police had prepared for potential violence at the scene because of Velasquez’s alleged threats. Gutierrez said police did find that a male associate of Velasquez, who also was at the scene, was in possession of a pellet gun.
Hey, if you’re gonna threaten, at least bring more than a BB gun to the table.
Btw, the age of consent is 16 in New Mexico, so the man literally did nothing legally wrong.
