57 years in Congress meets Google Glass

Rep. John Dingell was first elected to Congress in 1956 and has remained in Congress for an astounding 57 years, longer than any Congressman in history.

He’s seen quite a few technological innovations come and go.

Watch what happens when he tried on Google Glass, the next generation of technology.

After trying to find a Chinese restaurant, Rep. Dingell exclaims, “[t]his is quite a machine!”

While it’s unsettling there’s a man in Congress who has served longer than the country’s been in existence, it’s cool to see him staying up with the latest trends…even if he thinks some bastard just switched out his eyeglasses for an afternoon.
